The ´óÏóAPPRoadrunners’ season has come to an end following the club’s Game 3 loss to the Abbotsford Canucks at Abbotsford Centre on Saturday night.
´óÏóAPPdropped the final game of the three-game series 5-0 after beating Abbotsford 4-1 on Friday.
The Canucks will now face the Coachella Valley Firebirds in the Pacific Division semifinals of the . The winner of the Firebirds-Canucks series will take on the winner between the Colorado Eagles and San Jose Barracuda.

The Roadrunners have lost three straight first-round playoff series and haven’t won a postseason series since 2018.
Despite the series loss, ´óÏóAPPgoaltender Jaxson Stauber, who started his career with the Chicago Blackhawks, had over 30 saves in all three games against Abbotsford, including a career-high 38 saves on Friday. In the final two games of the series, Stauber stopped 72 of 77 shots and recorded a .935 save percentage.

Although the Roadrunners’ NHL affiliate in the Utah Hockey Club — formerly the Arizona Coyotes — moved to Salt Lake City this season, the Roadrunners are under contract in ´óÏóAPPfor the next two seasons. The 2025-26 season will be the Roadrunners’ 10th in Tucson.
