The first casino within the city limits is taking shape on Tucson鈥檚 west side.
Casino Del Sol鈥檚 Grant Road casino, just east of Interstate 10, recently celebrated its 鈥渢opping out,鈥 as the last beam was placed on the structural framework that is now complete.

The steelwork is going up on the northeast side of the new casino, off North Flowing Wells Road.
Several members of the Pascua Yaqui Tribe signed the final beam before it was hoisted into place by McCarthy Building Companies.
The 154,000-square-foot casino will have multiple dining venues and a separate four-level parking garage that will accommodate more than 1,000 vehicles.

The Grant Road casino will have many of the same architectural designs as its sister, Casino del Sol on West Valencia Road, such as the painted-sky ceiling, centerpiece bar and copper dome.
Construction began last year and is expected to be complete in the fall of 2026.
